The COVID-19 impact on cancer care was immediate: treatments interrupted, preventive screenings canceled, and clinical trials delayed.

Also rapid was the response from ASCO to mobilize experts to monitor and study the short and long-term effects of COVID-19 on the cancer community.

In March, work began to develop the ASCO Survey on COVID-19 in Oncology Registry (ASCO Registry). Practices are now sharing information on this web-based tracker. ASCO will work to provide reports from the Registry at least monthly. Timing will depend on the number of cases reported.
