Eric P. Winer, MD, is the Director of Yale Cancer Center and Physician-in-Chief of Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven. He has received numerous awards for his breast cancer research, most notably ASCO’s Gianni Bonadonna Breast Cancer Award and Lecture in 2017 and the William L. McGuire Memorial Lecture Award in 2016 at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.

Can you imagine needing medical care for your child but being unable to simply and safely take them to see a doctor?  That's the case in low-and middle-income countries, where less than 30% of children with cancer survive due to unavailable or unaffordable treatment.

Our friend, supporter and advocate, Mark Crafts, passed away last week.

Mark was introduced to us in 2017 after being diagnosed with cancer. Since then, Mark remained a steadfast supporter in advancing Conquer Cancer's mission and leading many efforts to help raise funds for cancer research and vital programs.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Conquer Cancer®, the ASCO Foundation, is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2022 Quality Care Symposium Merit Awards.  

These distinguished awards recognize oncology fellows and trainees who are first authors on top-ranking abstracts selected for presentation at the ASCO Quality Care Symposium September 30 – October 1, 2022, in Chicago.  

These 30 oncology professionals are recognized for their respective field and research advancements within the cancer care community:
