ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Conquer Cancer®, the ASCO Foundation, and the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) are pleased to announce Leslie K. Dennis, PhD, MS, of The University of Arizona, as the recipient of the 2022 ASCO Registry Melanoma Research Grant.  

Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation, has funded researchers at 47 of the 50 Best Cancer Hospitals for 2022.

The list, recently released by U.S. News & World Report, evaluates 914 hospitals and academic centers based on survival rates for particularly challenging patients, patient experience, and other measures of performance that can be assessed using hard data. The top 50 institutions that treat cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, melanoma, breast, kidney, colon, prostate, pancreatic, head and neck, orthopedic, uterine, and ovarian cancers were ranked.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Conquer Cancer®, the ASCO Foundation, is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2022 ASCO Annual Meeting Merit Awards. 

Annual Meeting Merit Awards support oncology trainees who are first authors on abstracts selected for presentation at the ASCO Annual Meeting. This year, Conquer Cancer will recognize 151 recipients with Merit Awards. These oncology professionals are recognized for their respective field and research advancements within the cancer care community.   

Alexandria, Va. - Conquer Cancer®, the ASCO Foundation, welcomes Kathryn Beal, MD, to its Board of Directors. Dr. Beal will help guide Conquer Cancer in its support of funding breakthrough research for every type of cancer.
